Graphic Design - Summer 2022

Description

An experiential learning opportunity that develops the student’s academic, personal, and career-related goals in their related area of study. Experience is gained at ASH Centre sports facility. Theory is coordinated with practical experience.

The graphic design position will report to our Visual Communications Director, Josette Grames. 

Internship dates/times are flexible depending on the intern's schedule and needs.

Responsibilities

The graphic design position will assist with a variety of marketing and communications projects.  The types of projects that could be assigned are as follows:

  * Social Media - Imagery & Design for posts

  * Programming Event Promotions - Photography, Editing, Banner Design, Print Design

  * Fundraising Event Promotions - Program Guide, Online Auction, Handouts/Flyer Design

  *Campus Signage Design

Qualifications

The graphic design intern must be well acquainted with Adobe Creative Cloud design software and have a portfolio of classwork available for review by WBA's Visual Communications Director. Basic photography skills would be preferred as well, as there are many great opportunities for photography at our organization throughout the year.
