Description
We are are in need for a knowledgeable, reliable, and talented self-starter willing to assist with utilizing a variety of social media platforms for our growing Agency. This will be an ideal opportunity for a candidate who would like to be a part of a team that exists to improve the lives of senior citizens, build a portfolio that would demonstrate to a future employer what they are capable of, and show real world experience.
Responsibilities
The position will help with the promotional needs of the non-profit entity, which includes social media posting & response
- Research what’s best to post information and announcements on Facebook, LinkedIn, and variety of other social media for best results
- Pull reports from our internal activity data bases, site & other social media and put it in a report that will help management understand what is actually happening
- Understanding how to target, direct, and understand the audience’s interests and preferences
- Work with designer and Team for all our forms of correspondence that are sent out to the public through social media platforms
- Willing to research and understand the Google grant process and how to utilize it
- Document processes, log-in information, and list of social media sites used, keeping detailed records so that the next intern will be able to pick up and run quicker
- Assist with the planning, executing, and evaluation of social media and other marketing projects.
- Design, video production and editing skills preferred
- Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills.
Qualifications
Junior or senior level Marketing major within an accredited Business Administration program or Communications major with a heavy emphasis in Social Media experience. Event planning and nonprofit management majors would also be applicable.
