E-commerce Operations

Description

This internship will provide the intern with real world experience alongside an E-commerce team with a thriving Indianapolis business. Working under the E-commerce team lead will be an invaluable experience in which the intern will take on optimizing supply chain, efficient order flow, problem solving, and team building.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all company policies and established warehouse procedures
• Accurately prepare LTL or Ground shipments after kitting process is complete
• Maintain accurate inventory counts
• Stacks or piles materials in a safe manner.
• Assemble orders according to team’s goal for the day. Palletize, re-package product and prepare for shipment to hub.
• Visually inspect all items prior to the kitting process
• Organize, stock, maintain and organize bin locations.
• Will be familiar with and comply with proper health and safety policies ensuring a safe working environment.
• Will use the required safety devices and proper personal protective equipment.
• Will notify management or E-commerce Team Leader of unsafe conditions or practices.

Qualifications

• Must be an EARN Indiana eligible intern
• Must live in a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone)
