Description
Intern Program Activities (anticipated, subject to change): June - early August
- Orientation Kickoff
- Networking opportunities to connect you with other internal and alumni interns
- Attend a required "all student" virtual networking event at the end of the internship presenting to key members of Sr. Management and participating in a panel discussion with Sr. Management
Internship Basics
- 10 - 12 week summer duration desired, flexible start and end dates
- 40-hour anticipated work week, Mon-Fri (flexible hours based on your schedule)

Responsibilities
Position Summary
Internships offer great work experience to compliment your classroom learning and career goals. Accounting Internship working as a member of the Accounting team. Internships will be during the Summer of 2022 with flexible hours based on student schedules. Interns will prepare/virtually present a summary of their Intern experience to the Division Head as well as attend virtual networking events throughout the internship presented by key members of Senior Management.
Essential Requirements
Administrative Responsibilities

Performs clerical duties as requested

Completes assigned reports and/or projects in a timely and efficient manner

Performs follow-up on all administrative details for department efficiency
Accounting Responsibilities
- Learn the basics of Corporate Accounting
- Prepare account reconciliations and research differences
- Assist with general ledger system maintenance and balancing
- Prepare and/or post journal entries
- Process accounts payable invoices
- Completes all compliance training related to the position.
- Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and complies with the requirements.
Qualifications
Experience/Skills

Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D

Pursuing college major in Accounting

Junior or Senior, preference will be given towards Seniors

Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, database experience)

Detail-oriented and accuracy a must

Organizational skills and time management skills

Good verbal and written communication skills
