Description

Krieg DeVault LLP is seeking to hire legislative intern(s) for the 2023 Legislative Session.  The internship provides firsthand experience of the challenges of passing legislation in the Indiana General Assembly. The internship is full-time beginning the first week of January. The 2023 Legislative Session is a long session, which by statute must end no later than April 29, 2023. The end date of the internship is somewhat flexible; however, we usually retain our interns at least one week after the last day of session. It is anticipated that interns will work primarily at the Indiana State House and Government Center based on guidance issued by the General Assembly on public access to the building. On days when the General Assembly does not convene, interns are expected to work in our Indianapolis office. The salary is to be determined and will be based on the prior experience, if any, of the prospective interns. Most colleges and  universities grant credit for this internship, but the allocation of that credit is at the discretion of the school. Please email Amy Schwarz at aschwarz@kdlegal.com with any questions or to submit a resume.
