Description

Dallara is seeking an intern to assist with new business development.  The intern will provide support to the development team to ensure timely and consistent delivery of proposals for new business. The position will be for 10-20 hours per week.  

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a database of all proposals and schedule timely follow-ups.
  • Assist with the arrangement of meetings.
  • Provide support for the processing of incoming and outgoing mail as required.
  • Undertake and monitor research to provide highly needed support for the business development team.
  • Help to determine budgets for company projects and programs
  • Assist in the commercial department’s growth as it relates to AS9100 and ISO 9001 QMS standards
  • Assist with supply chain and logistics planning
  • Assist with quotation developments and part pricing
  • Tracking KPI’s company wide and become well versed in the presentation of said data
  • Assisting with communication to motorsport, Aerospace, and defense customers and use findings for growth
  • Tracking customer feedback and presenting said data meaningfully
  • Learning about the EXP- how to market it, what has been successful, how to sell it, and use that knowledge to aid in sales by making process improvements
  • Assist with arrangement of simulator sessions
  • Data reporting
  • Develop good knowledge regarding priority sectors
  • Track and organize Contract and Customer Services reviews
  • Research and data analytics for various projects
  • Track and update production data in the Google Data studio
  • Communicate with personnel in Italy on various projects
  • Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must possess good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to conceive and produce quality, professional proposals, and follow-ups with assistance.
  • Positive, proactive team player who is self-motivated.
  • Time Management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, Photoshop, and Excel applications.
  • Good understanding of margins, overheads, and labor costs for job quoting
  • Experience with Google docs
  • Data Analytics
  • Detail oriented
