Accounting Intern

Description

Responsible for assisting with the company financial, planning and operations relating to the financial and accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• To assist in maintaining timely and accurate accounting processes specific to payables, receivables, journal ledger, banks, reconciliations) for Dallara LLC, and other group companies
• To assist in processing outgoing A/R invoices and customer correspondence
• To assist in processing incoming A/P invoices and correspondence
• To assist in performing 3-way matching of purchase orders, receivers and invoices and resolve differences
• To maintain the Vendor & Customer contact information, W9 forms, and payment specifications
• To assist with development and preparation of operational reporting and analysis and to identify the required improvement actions
• To assist with any other accounting tasks as needed
• To adhere to strong internal controls and assist in implementation of cost control measures

Qualifications

1. 
   Basic Knowledge of Accounting Principles/Functions.
2. Proficiency with MS Office, specifically Excel.
   3. Ability to Work Independently.
   4. Resourcefulness.
   5. Verbal & Written Communication Proficiency.
   6. Ethical Conduct.
   7. Detail-Oriented.
   8. Confidentiality.
