Description

Curious how marketing plays a role in construction? Pepper Construction is seeking a creative, driven, detail-oriented Marketing Intern who’s eager to learn the ins and outs of marketing in the construction industry. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a collaborative team while gaining exposure to how marketing supports every stage of a construction project, from pursuit to completion.

This position will be exposed to many facets of the business and interact with senior management. As such, the successful candidate will learn how to fill a creative role within a corporate setting. Likewise, Pepper is excited to hear fresh ideas and gain a different perspective.

Responsibilities

  • Designing print and digital marketing collateral
  • Attending events and jobsites as needed to take photos and video content for social media
  • Assisting with proposals, presentations and internal communications
  • Assisting with updating our project management database
  • Supporting additional day-to-day marketing needs as needed

Qualifications

  • Current college student entering their Sophomore, Junior or Senior year studying Marketing, Communications/Public Relations, Graphic Design or similar discipline with relevant coursework (required).
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and/or Illustrator) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience creating and managing content for social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook
  • Strong graphic design, writing and proofreading skills, with an emphasis on adhering to brand standards
  • Comfortable working both collaboratively and independently on deadline-driven projects
  • Able to follow direction on assigned tasks while taking initiative and ownership on others
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities
  • Reliable transportation for travel to and from work-related activities and assignments
