Human Resources Summer Internship

Description

We are seeking highly motivated, self-driven interns for Summer 2026, who are interested in working in the construction industry after graduation. You will participate in a fun and rewarding 8 to 10 week summer internship, providing exposure to impactful projects in various departments that will influence the business. In doing so, you develop business skills, interpersonal skills and career development. You will work on specifically defined projects focused on benefits, enrollment, and hiring training. This position will report directly to the HR Operations Manager at our Indianapolis Headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Working with the HR Leadership team on creating onboarding resources to provide an overview of the benefits plans and enrollment processes through narrated powerpoints and videos.
• Collaborating with the HR Leadership team on reviewing and updating process maps for offer letters and onboarding while evaluating the hiring stages and responsibilities workflow through ADP.

Qualifications

• Education – Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
• Certifications – No specific certifications required; however, any related certifications or coursework in Human Resources would be advantageous. 
• Professional Experience – While no prior professional experience is required, any exposure to the construction industry, human resources, or relevant internships would be a plus. 
• Valid driver's license
• Military service a plus
• Bilingual a plus
