Description
Our growing company, ROI Search Group, is accepting applications for a Marketing Intern for the 2018 Spring semester, through April 27th. The successful candidate will be enrolled full-time at a university or college and studying marketing or communications. We are looking for a driven, ambitious individual who wants to create a career in social media and content marketing with a flexible schedule. We will provide project scope, guidance and support, as well as the opportunity to experience the industry from the inside and gain valuable work experience. You will leave with tangible project experience and substantial results in the marketing world.
Our internship offers a flexible work schedule with remote capability. Our ideal intern would be able to contribute 12 to 15 hours a week. In addition, this internship offers monthly mentorship meetings with ROI Search Group founder. The hourly rate is $10/hr.
Project Examples include, but not limited:
1. Develop a monthly social media campaign
2. Develop a presentation on hiring trends particularly related to healthcare
3. Develop a list of healthcare topics for articles and future presentations addressing top concerns and questions hiring managers and leaders have.
Responsibilities
1. Content creation for company social media accounts, including organizing cross-platform content strategies.
2. Develop new social media campaigns for our industry.
3. Monitor social channels for trending news and capitalize on those trends through our social media accounts.
4. Assist with capturing and analyzing social media metrics.
5. Special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program required; students must have completed their freshman year in order to apply for the internship.
Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms
Ability to multi-task and take initiative
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
Experience with content creation a plus, even if not professionally
