We are seeking a motivated professional that is passionate about early learning education to join our school as a Preschool Teacher. In this position, you will assist the primary classroom teacher with activities and learning exercises and help them maintain a friendly, inclusive atmosphere for all students. Depending on needs and class sizes, you may take small groups of students aside for separate activities. You also help maintain student records of behavior and progress and keep parents up-to-date on their child’s development and learning.

Responsibilities

getting the classroom ready for lessons
listening to children read, reading to them or telling them stories
helping children who need extra support to complete tasks
helping teachers to plan learning activities
supporting teachers in managing class behavior
supervising group activities
simple daily housecleaning duties in each classroom
clearing away materials and equipment after lessons
helping with outings and field trips
taking part in training
