Our primary business model requires extremely accurate tracking and accounting of resources to ensure proper project execution and optimal resource utilization can be achieved.

We are looking for a Software Development Intern to work alongside our engineering and management team for the development of a new resource management software system. In this role, the intern will discover efficient ways to organize, store and analyze data with attention to detail, security, and confidentiality while building out a system on Microsoft Power Platform to interact with engineering resource managers, financial controllers, and business executives across the organization.  A successful Intern will be able to grasp the complexities of data management and visualization, software development and implementation, UX optimization and testing. The ideal candidate will we willing to learn software design processes, establish databases, and author data analysis procedures. This internship will run as a hybrid model: requiring some on-site work and some remote collaboration work via Microsoft Teams and various cloud-based software development tools.


  • Must be able to think of new systems and new ways to work. Must be able to think creatively.
  • Development of software applications (coding, programming)
  • Debugging and testing code
  • Documenting and testing new software applications
  • Researching, investigating, and fixing a wide range of technical issues
  • Collaborating with software engineers, resource managers and senior business leaders
  • Proactively learning about new technologies
  • Must understand complex mathematical analysis, calculus, and other mathematics for design and troubleshooting.
  • Need the skills to identify the source of the problem and create/test solutions.
  • Will be part of a team in developing systems, fixing problems, or creating solutions. Need to work well with others.

Must be able to communicate your plans, thoughts, and rationale.  Must have good communication skills.


  • Proficient in Microsoft software suite (Office, Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint)
  • Basic understanding of .Net Framework
    • Experience with C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, & Microsoft Power Fx is a plus
  • Willing to learn development within the Microsoft Azure Power Platform
  • Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities through identification of deficiencies and execution of solutions in a collaborative team environment.
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited College/University pursing a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, of Informatics.
