Design Engineering Internship

Description

To design and develop mechanical products or components defining the functional and technical characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Complete CREO training
• Assist design engineers with the design and creation of 3D models using CREO
• Complete the designs and drawings created by others in the design group as necessary
• Collect and assess all available inputs for project and quality design requirements
• Respect security guidelines within your area of competence
• Work closely with Manufacturing and Production Planning

Qualifications

• CAD expertise
• Experience working with CREO, preferred
• Team Oriented
• Verbal and Written Communication Proficiency
• Detail oriented
• Experience working with Excel
• Experience/Knowledge of composite materials and working in a manufacturing environment
• Enrolled in a Motorsports or Mechanical engineering degree program with at least Sophomore standing
• Completion of at least one design course
