Position Overview

As Xphera continues to drive innovation in public art and historical site engagements, we are seeking to bring on an individual who will support our efforts to spearhead our groundbreaking technologies into the broader public. This individual will collaborate with our founder and multimedia team to support our efforts to position Xphera as an industry leader in immersive tourism and navigation experiences by securing transformative funding and producing authoritative research. The Research and Grants Specialist will work hand in hand with our team to craft compelling grant proposals, such as those for the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), and develop whitepapers and studies that showcase Xphera’s expertise in connecting communities with art, history, and urban exploration.

  • Research and identify federal, state, and private funding opportunities (e.g., National Endowment for the Humanities, tourism grants) that align with XPHERA’s mission and projects.
  • Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals, ensuring compliance with funder guidelines and compelling narratives that highlight XPHERA’s innovative technologies.
  • Conduct in-depth research on tourism, public art, humanities, and urban navigation trends to support grant applications and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Develop whitepapers, research studies, and reports that position XPHERA as an industry expert and amplify our impact in the cultural and tourism sectors.
  • Collaborate with XPHERA’s leadership and project teams to gather data, budgets, and technical details for grant proposals and research outputs.
  • Maintain accurate records of grant submissions, deadlines, and compliance requirements to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Contribute to thought leadership efforts by drafting articles, presentations, or other content to showcase XPHERA’s expertise at industry events or in publications.

  • Proven ability to conduct research and produce high-quality written deliverables, such as whitepapers, reports, or grant narratives.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and ability to craft persuasive, audience-focused content.
  • Familiarity with tourism, public art, or cultural engagement (experience in downtown tours, art tours, or navigation a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for advancing XPHERA’s mission to connect communities with art, history, and urban exploration.
