Accounting Intern

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented College Accounting Intern to support our team with routine accounting and tax tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional accounting environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with tax return input and basic tax preparation tasks

• Downloading and organizing monthly bank statements for client accounts

• Preparing routine journal entries and assisting with monthly closing activities

• Running standard reports in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Excel

• Supporting the team with general administrative and accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college accounting degree program

• Comfortable using computer software, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Ability to work independently with strong self-initiative

• Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn
