Data Analyst Internship

Description

Curvo is a healthcare-focused data and technology company that brings transparency to hospitals and health systems. Curvo's mission is to be the trusted source of truth for healthcare's purchasing ecosystem—transforming the supply chain into common ground to deliver uncommon value for all.

The intern will work directly with both the operations team's leadership and individual team members across each functional area. After an initial onboarding and orientation phase, the intern will have recurring weekly meetings with different team members to review project progress and set goals for the week ahead. By the end of the internship, we want the learner to gain exposure to all areas of our operations team and to provide meaningful value in how we plan to manage data, prioritize problems, and implement solutions.

Responsibilities

The intern will work on various projects throughout each functional area related to organizational and process improvements. The intern will get experience utilizing hubspot for our customer operations, the intern will get experience utilizing various data processing tools such as SQL and ADF with the data integration team and they will also learn about the hospital product market utilizing Curvo’s proprietary data enrichment engine.

Qualifications

Candidates should be currently enrolled undergraduate students; all majors are welcome, though Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or Math/Stats are preferred. We're looking for someone with strong baseline spreadsheet skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including standard formulas like VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF statements, and Pivot Tables, along with a detail-oriented eye for catching inconsistencies, missing values, and formatting errors across large datasets. Experience with various AI platforms is ideal. The candidate should also be comfortable learning new software tools quickly, ask thoughtful questions when troubleshooting, and communicates clearly and concisely on task progress, flagging blockers early.

Learning Objectives

The intern will learn to work with common business tools, including a CRM, data management platforms, and data visualization tooling. They will get comfortable collaborating across functional areas, communicating clearly to build consensus on issues and solutions. The intern will deliver a final project related to process improvements with how our organization reviews and manages data.
