Manufacturing Associate

Description

Arcamed is a medical manufacturing company who specializes in Case and Tray manufacturing. The role of the Manufacturing Associate is one that would learn about the production life cycle, from receiving material all the way through the manufacturing and production of it. The Manufacturing Associate would receive training in each area from their direct manager or team lead, and receive continuous support from skilled operators.

Responsibilities

Responsible for handling travelers to ensure all processes are completed.

Fabricate, assemble, and apply graphics according to print

Manage job flow and priority in compliance with completion dates

Those focused on fabrication, assembly, and graphics may perform various processes and operate machinery including:

1. Manual silkscreen and screen prep
2. Laser etching
3. Turret
4. Rollers
5. Timesaver
6. Deburr
7. Laser
8. Riveter

Uphold all quality processes and perform first piece checks

Qualifications

High attention to detail

High school diploma or GED equivalent, or actively working towards it.

Ability to read blueprints

Written and verbal communication skills

Ability to learn and cross train as necessary

Learning Objectives

Learning objectives include:

1. learning and understanding how material moves through production
2. learning how different machines are used
3. learning to run various machines
4. learning how to read material routers
5. learning how to use measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
