WGIP and GTV Audio and Video Technology Communication Intern
Description
Our Radio and TV Broadcasting students can apply for paid internships/ work based learning at Greensburg Community High School. Our interns will be under the direct supervision of a licensed certified teacher and will report to the Broadcasting and Communication teacher. These students will be hands-on in small groups, one on one and running the GCHS Radio station, WGIP 89.9, while getting experience in sports broadcasting and radio communications.
Responsibilities
GCHS WBL Interns will be hands-on with radio and television every school day.
Establish and maintain an informative and entertaining broadcasting environment
Collaborate with others to develop, create and implement segments that highlight GCHS and the school district.
Support the academic, athletic and other extracurricular activities of GCHS
Create a communications and broadcasting department that ensures equal representation in all areas of our school community.
Understand and comply with the school district's policies and ethical guidelines.
Takes advantage of available opportunities to include, highlight and showcase our community partners, donors and families on our radio and television broadcasts.
Qualifications
Come with as much knowledge as you have gained in your radio and television broadcasting classes but the real experiences will be gained in the television and radio studio.

- Promotes and represents Greensburg Community Schools during all broadcasts.
