Ministry Support Coordinator

Description

Harvest Community Church is a non profit organization that is reaching people and building lives in Goshen and surrounding communities. The ideal candidate will work with the staff to support the ministry operations of the church. The candidate will learn through real world experiences that involve planning, preparing and executing a variety of functions that support the ministry teams to fulfill the mission of Harvest. The candidate will be under the direct supervision of one of the pastors on staff. The learning goals are to increase in their ability to work collaboratively, enhance their communication skills and develop their business management skills to support the ministries of Harvest.

Responsibilities

The intern will work directly with the Ministry Team leads to develop and successfully implement a variety of ministry related activities/events, such as Christmas services, Easter services, and special events such as "Encounter" and "At The Movies".

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have the ability to be on time, communicate well with their direct supervisor and have a willingness to learn. They should also possess the ability to communicate well and willing to step out of their comfort zone to expand their abilities.

The learning objectives are:

Increase their ability to work collaboratively

Enhance their communication skills

Develop their business management skills (through direct support of ministry events, including brainstorming, planning and implementation)
