Description
Summary:
Interactive Technology interns learn about the process of designing and developing a variety of technologies with an emphasis on website projects.
Responsibilities
Possible internship projects include:
- Gather data to assess website usability through surveys, online tools, interviews, etc.
- Conduct interviews with website visitors about the successes and failures of the museum’s new website
- Review recorded browser sessions and create summaries of issues identified in the videos
- Produce a summary report that includes results from multiple research methods
Qualifications
Working Conditions:
- Office work environment
- Make phone calls to conduct interviews
- Review recorded website browsing sessions on a computer
- Work in a quiet environment, often self-directed
Experience/Requirements:
- 3 years of college required
- Strong oral and written communication skills required
- Customer service skills a plus
- Excellent organizational and research skills required
- Use of Microsoft Office
- Use of Mouseflow (website browser recording software) training will be provided
