IT Systems Administrator - Spring 2022
Description
Internship will involve real-world varied IT System Administrator tasks - everything from setting up new users and computers to troubleshooting and making changes to wired and wireless networks, phone systems, and firewalls. 95% of the job is done here in our office and most communication with customers is via telephone and email, but there will be some occasional opportunities to go on-site and visit customers for certain issues, particularly pickup and deployment of new/repaired equipment and assisting with implementation projects.
Responsibilities
After training, the intern will be working tasks on their own from the company "ticket queue". Intern is expected to show up promptly, log into their workstation, find out what tasks need to be done, and get to work, asking questions and coordinating with the rest of the team where appropriate. Pinnacle is a small team of 7 people, so the intern is an important part of the team, and will quickly have increasing levels of latitude and responsibility as they prove themselves.
