Supervisory Responsibilities:  None 

 

Summary:  The Instructional Developer Intern will partner with our Instructional Design team to align with their projects and create digital content for various training and learning experiences being developed for the bank. The successful candidate will be engaged in the development of content such as: job aids, training documentation, video content, and elearning content that will be delivered to our associates internally through our Learning Management System (LMS). This temporary role will run for 3 months during the summer of 2022 and the intern will work mostly in-person out of our Merrillville office.  

 

What your day-to-day would be:  

  • Collaborate with Instructional Designers to develop instructional content to be delivered to the bank associates.   

  • Work alongside instructional designers, subject-matter experts (SMEs), and trainers to ensure training content is user-friendly, up-to-date, and performing as expected. 

  • Develop digital instructional content to meet stakeholder and business partner goals.  

  • Deliver training demonstrations and/or walkthroughs on various features and functions within a system.  

  • Proofread and review content for accuracy.  

  • Test content and system functionality in a test environment prior to moving content into live environment.  

  • Create and administer surveys and provide reporting metrics on the quality and effectiveness on content.  

  • Strive to provide a World-Class Service experience in every interaction. 

 

What it takes to be successful in this position: 

  • Field of study could be within Instructional Design, Education, Graphic Design, Marketing, Video Production, Digital Media, Communications, or related field.  

  • Working knowledge (certifications preferred) Microsoft Office products. 

  • Experience with video editing software. 

  • Ability to remain positive and flexible in a changing environment. 

  • Ability to manage time well and foster relationships with the team and stakeholders 

  • Willingness to learn new things, ask questions, and clarify information.

  • Current college enrollment or degree in a related major/field of study. 

  • You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. Relocation expenses are not provided.
