Construction Project Manager Intern

Description

 In this position you will learn about pre-planning and managing higher education, K-12, healthcare, industrial and other construction projects. You will utilize all company resources resulting in satisfied customers, increased productivity, and increased profitability.

Responsibilities

• Learn how change orders are created and why
• Work with Labor Superintendents to learn how labor plans are being carried out
• Review MEP Schedules and manloading charts on all projects
• Communicate with purchasing, subcontractors and our fabrication shop with a Project Manager to secure schedule, scope and price.
• Promote and enforce a safe working environment
• Other duties assigned

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Construction Management or similar program
• Excellent communicator in both written and verbal forms
• Self-motivated, working under minimal supervision
• Team player with the ability to motivate others
• Positive attitude and good interpersonal skills
