Description
Design and build projects in the Health Care, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, and Food Process industries.
Responsibilities
- Working daily with engineering, and other designers to coordinate equipment placement, pipe routing, and prefabrication opportunities for miscellaneous piping systems
- Layout and routing, 2D & 3D design of utility piping systems (heating water, chilled water, steam, compressed air)
- Layout and routing, 2D & 3D design of plumbing systems including potable hot and cold water, sanitary waste and vent piping, storm drainage and natural gas piping
- Layout and routing, 2D & 3D design of food process piping systems including process and CIP
- Layout and routing, 2D & 3D design of ammonia refrigeration piping systems generally for used in the food industry
- Creating system flowsheets
- Creating prefabrication drawings & details
- Creating jobsite layout and install drawings
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a college degree program.
Strong Mechanical Aptitude
Autodesk Plant 3D & Navisworks experience helpful
