Business Administration Intern - Medical Device Industry

Levisonics is a medical device startup that is dedicated to improving the lives of patients by developing innovative blood coagulation testing platforms that can perform coagulation analysis with a single drop of blood using acoustic levitation. Our mission is to provide healthcare professionals with accurate and reliable diagnostic tools that help them make informed decisions and improve patient outcomes. 

As a Business Administration Intern, you will be responsible for supporting and reporting to the administrative staff in various business operations. You will be exposed to multiple facets of a startup and will gain experience in engineering project management, healthcare regulation, start-up business development, and more.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing the company's social media presence on various platforms
• Create and manage spreadsheets to help track important business metrics
• Create graphics for presentations and marketing materials
• Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities for growth nationally and internationally
• Communicate with researchers and physicians to identify potential collaborations
• Assist with relevant operational and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field
• Interested in startups, preferabl;y in healthcare/medical device space
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Ability to work collaboratively with others and independently when necessary
• Any prior experience with graphic design, start-up funding, and market research is appreciated, but not required
