Description

Levisonics is a medical device startup that is dedicated to improving the lives of patients by developing innovative blood coagulation testing platforms that can perform coagulation analysis with a single drop of blood using acoustic levitation. Our mission is to provide healthcare professionals with accurate and reliable diagnostic tools that help them make informed decisions and improve patient outcomes.

We are seeking several Engineering Interns with a passion for biomedical engineering to assist our engineering team in the development and testing of our blood coagulation testing devices. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on unique and exciting projects that directly impact patient care while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced startup environment. You will work closely with our engineers to help design, assemble, and test prototypes and will help contribute to the development of our product pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • We are hiring interns in several fields, including mechanical, electrical, software, and others
  • Assist with the design and development of medical diagnostic tools
  • Collaborate with engineers to build and test prototypes
  • Assist in manufacturing & assembly of device components
  • Conduct experiments to evaluate device performance
  • Maintain accurate records of experiments and test results
  • Keep up-to-date with current literature and advances in medical device engineering
  • Work under the project manager and product development team

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering field
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
  • Able to work in a hands-on environment to assemble and test prototype components
  • Good communication skills and ability to work on a small team of engineers
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate and complete records
