Budget Analyst

DW Properties and Financial Services is a small Accounting and Tax Firm that specializes in small business financial needs. Our services include business startup, bookkeeping, tax and advisory. This is an on-site position with some hybrid work. Training will be hands on and on the job, upon completion of this internship I would expect that the intern would have good understand of how to complete a yearly budget, how to compare budget to actual results and how to analyze results. 

Responsibilities

The intern will be completing yearly budgets for small businesses using LivePlan with Quickbooks integration. The intern will gain experience presenting budgets and explaining the numbers behind the budget as well as helping clients understand how they are performing against their budget. 

Qualifications

Intern should have some Accounting/Finance experience, proficient using Microsoft Excel and experience with LivePlan and Quickbooks would be great but not required. Intern should also be able to self-start and problem solve.
