Description
A Member Service Representative’s (Teller) role is a very important one inside REGIONAL. As not every member's financial situation is the same and you will be responsible to provide personalized service while providing members with support for all of their credit union financial service needs, including completing transactions and providing saving options. You will process all financial transactions for members accurately, efficiently, and in a professional manner. You will exercise discretion, judgment, and initiative with each transaction while presenting a positive image of the organization.
Responsibilities
Perform account transactions, account maintenance, complete member correspondence and daily balancing. Individuals will also be required to promote the credit union by providing quality service, maintain a well-developed working knowledge of the credit union's products and services and capable of effectively cross-selling products and services to develop the membership relationship. This position will also work to educate our community youth on financial services by visiting community schools and presenting pre-prepared material to the students.
Qualifications
Must have a desire to serve members with quality service, desire to work and support other team members, commitment to learn REGIONAL products, follow established procedures and meet established goals. Cash handling and proven sales experience preferred. Must possess strong communications skills and enjoy speaking with community members of all ages.
