Description

This position is accountable for the assistance of management of the assigned construction projects and its field supervisors. Also, to assist the project team in ensuring scheduled completion of the projects within established budget, time and quality standards.


This position is responsible for the assisting with the planning and preparing of all contract administration, monitoring field installation process, and developing or maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

1.1 Assists in reviews, analyzes, and interprets bid documents, plans and specifications for project hand-off from Estimator in a manner that ensures the complete transfer of awarded project within contract quotes.


1.2. Assists, inspects and monitors jobsites (weekly) to identify irregularities and ensures that construction progress conforms to plans and specifications (or as required by the Contract), quality and performance requirements.


1.3. Assists with appraisals of existing or anticipated technical construction obstacles weekly and implements alternative solutions to overcome problems in a manner which maintains established schedules and budgets.


1.4. Promotes, reinforces, and monitors safety program routinely to conform with government regulations and standards as well as company policy and procedures.


1.5. Assists with project estimating during excessive estimating workload periods or in special circumstances in a manner that enables the attainment of awarded project within contract quotes.


1.6. Assists & reviews project plans and specifications and project scope of work for completeness of documentation and Bid Packages in accordance with corporate standard operating procedures.


1.7. Assists, processes, and maintains daily, weekly and monthly project schedules and milestones consisting of CPM/Bar charts, time planner, and action plan tools.


1.8. Identifies, recommends, and prepares change order(s) in a manner that the estimated work is installed within quoted cost, time and schedule.


1.9. Assists and prepares subcontracts and purchase orders in accordance with project budgets, specifications, project estimates, as well as corporate policies, procedures and objectives.


1.10. Assists and provides start-up contract information, job cost and cash flow for input to accounting system in a timely manner; presents monthly updates with cost coding for change orders; prepares monthly billings; approves invoices and forecasts estimated costs to complete; all consistent with project schedules, deadlines and policies and procedures.

Qualifications

* Pursuing of a 4-year bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, mechanical engineering or applicable degree.

* Pursuing and/or completion of 2-year Associate Degree with applicable experience.
