This is a paid internship starting in May 2024. Hours are M-F 8a-5p.
SUMMARY: This is an intern level position responsible for supporting the associates and functions within the Portfolio Analytics group. Individual responsibilities include primary tasks which directly contribute to the enhancement of current reporting methodologies, established processes, ad hoc requests, and any additional initiatives that may arise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Execute direct support to the Portfolio Analytics group and provide assistance on departmental undertakings as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with individuals throughout the Bank regarding credit initiatives.
- Adapt quickly to changes in priorities.
- Multi-task and maintain a high level of focus and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders.
- Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Deadline-driven with a high degree of professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple deliverables and follow up on items, as necessary.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to take ownership for accuracy of assigned tasks.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Competency in various software solutions within the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn and utilize additional Bank-used software solutions such as CSI NuPoint, Center Doc/Treeve, S&P Global, BankReg Data, Power BI, and Abrigo.
- Self-starter, motivated, and looking to provide value in all activities.
- Ability to ask questions and communicate when assistance is requested.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others (both written and verbally).
- Ability to work with a team and independently.
- Ability to learn new information quickly.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
- Ability to listen and be able to extract pertinent information.
- Ability to organize and manage projects of various sizes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- College student in relevant field of study.
- Intermediate to strong computer software skills (experience using Power BI considered a plus).
Hours are M-F 8a-5p.
