Maintenance Intern

Alpha Systems, a division of Patrick Industries located in Elkhart, IN, is a manufacturer of component pieces for the Recreational Vehicle, Manufactured Housing, and Boating industries, including but not limited to adhesives and sealants, roofing, fresh and wastewater tanks, and shutters.

Responsibilities

Maintenance competencies to include: 

• Troubleshoots, maintain and installs, and knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical and Pneumatic systems.  
• Record maintenance activity
• Conduct Preventive maintenance actions.
• Uphold workplace safety regulations.
• Read and interpret work orders to execute maintenance activity.
• Conduct general housekeeping and cleanup.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, including dimensions and tolerances.

Work with team members to complete tasks on time and satisfactorily.

Qualifications

Team member should be coachable, cooperative, dependable, flexible, and a problem solver. A hands-on learner would be suitable for this role as well as someone who is mechanically inclined.
