Responsibilities

Fort Wayne Metals is a world-class manufacturer that aims to make lives better around the world, and as an Architecture and Construction Management intern, you’ll play a key part in this mission.

You’ll have the opportunity to work with our Facilities team by using your Revit and AutoCAD experience to help us update our building floor plans in these platforms. To start, your degree should be in Architecture, Building Construction, or Construction Management, and you should be interested in pursuing a career in in this field

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, think creatively and communicate professionally. You should be comfortable conducting independent research, collaborating with corporate-level staff, be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, and be comfortable documenting results and data. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.

This position may require access to controlled technology or technical data; applicant must be a candidate fro export licensing and willing to participate in export licensing, if required.

Qualifications

What tools do you need to succeed in this role? You'll need to be proficient in AutoCAD and preferably Revit. You'll need to be comfortable working independently and collaboratively. You need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
