Secondary Marketing & Lock Desk Internship
Ruoff Mortgage is looking for a Secondary Marketing & Lock Desk intern. This position will work closely with the Mortgage Secondary Marketing Team to gather secondary market research, assess the findings, and report the results. Also, this position will assist the Lock Desk and the process of selling loans. This position is located on site, at our Corporate Headquarters in Fort Wayne, Indiana. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Lock Desk Team with rates and in loan sales
  • Assist with daily production and distribution of rate sheets
  • Aid in validation and confirmation of lock requests from Sr. Loan Officers
  • Analyze current mortgage backed securities market conditions and reprice rate sheets and locked/unlocked loans accordingly
  • Maintains and calculates profitability at the loan level
  • Maintain a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for a high level of confidentiality and security while handling personal information; verbal and/or written documentation
  • Perform other support/administrative tasks as requested

Qualifications

  • Must be working towards Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products-Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Attention to detail, multi-tasking and broad communication skills are essential
