Technolgy Assistant leading summer crew in maintenance of computers, ipads and installing software programs.

Responsibilities

Include but not limited to repairing computers as needed and installing apps and software to computers and ipads. They will be verifying and updating the inventory of equipment. They will also help with the beginning of the school year registration process.

This position will offer the student the ability to be a member of a small group of workers responsible for maintaining, upgrading and repairing computers, iPads and software programs. The student will learn time management, organizational skills, proper hardware and network installation techniques.  Students will be involved with the installation of network cabling, termination of network drops and the installation of access points and security cameras. They will be developing these skills by working alongside current technology staff. They will grow their communication skills by interacting with other staff, students and parents during this internship.

Qualifications

Current college student who is self motivated and reliable. Needs to be able to work independently and as a team member. Will also need excellent communication skills and be able to have a good rapport with staff and other students.
