Gallery Intern

Description

The Gallery Intern will be assisting with exhibition preparation, artwork intake, as well as marketing needs. The position includes independent work as well as collaborative work with the team. There will be the opportunity to build some aspects of the internship around the student’s aspirations as the immediate responsibilities are met (ie. marketing interest can lead to tasks in social media, content creation, advertising design, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Create tags detailing artwork for exhibition purposes
• Create Certificates of Authenticity (etc.) 
• Assist with intake of artwork (measuring, etc.)
• Pick up materials from vendors (printed materials, etc.)
• Participate in team meetings to update on project statuses
• Create artist/promotional materials within Canva or Adobe
