Description

Polished Strategic Communication is hiring a motivated social media management intern to assist with Women's Equity (WE) Brunch. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, and community engagement while contributing to a meaningful cause.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth across various platforms.
  • Create compelling and visually appealing content, including graphics, videos, and captions, to share WE Brunch events, initiatives, and empowering messages.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments/messages, and engage with our audience in a timely and professional manner.
  • Research relevant industry trends, hashtags, and influencers to optimize content reach and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to drive event attendance and community participation.
  • Assist in analyzing social media metrics and performance data to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on social media best practices, platform updates, and emerging trends to recommend innovative strategies and tactics.
  • Attend team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and WE Brunch events to contribute ideas and collaborate with fellow team members.

Qualifications

  • Strong passion for women's empowerment, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights).
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field preferred.
  • Bonus: Video creation experience.
