Graphic Design Internship Summer 2024

Description

Our Graphic Design Internship program creates an opportunity for students to get exposure to a variety of projects, while working side-by-side with senior-level graphic deisgners, communicators, marketing coordinators , business development professionals, and other support staff. Working under the firms Senior Evironmental Graphic Designer, the graphic design intern will be exposed to a variety of production-oriented projects. Going through this program prepares students for future employment by giving them hands-on experience in this industry, experience working in a professional environment, and it is a great way to network with other graphic deisgn and marketing professionals. 

Responsibilities

• Attend design team meetings and work under the guidance of the firm’s Environmental Graphic Designer.
• Leverage the assigned tools and resources to actively contribute to graphic design needs on active projects and for internal marketing purposes.
• Verbally communicate the design concept, and work collaboratively with the design team to make adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with the Business Development & Marketing team
• Make an active effort to integrate within the firm outside of assigned department, and work collaboratively across design disciplines.  

Qualifications

• Completion of 2 years of higher education toward a degree in graphic design
• Interest specifically in environmental graphic design within the building design industry (Architectural / Engineering / Interior Design / Construction)
• InDesign and/or Illustrator Experience Require
• Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite
