Description

• Heritage Custom Painting seeks energetic, outgoing, and motivated interns who want to learn. 
• Interns will be taught effective client acquisition strategies for small and medium businesses. 
• Interns will work closely with their mentors as they learn to develop residential and business-to-business (B2B) clients. 
• Interns will learn how to utilize and create effective outreach efforts to generate clients in the residential and B2B sectors.  
• Activities will be taught, demonstrated, and evaluated.  
• Interns will participate in several events before planning their own as a final evaluation.  Mentors will evaluate and approve the event, providing feedback when required.  
• Mentors will be senior leaders of a 75-person organization.
• Mentors will work closely with interns as they learn to apply real-world production rates to bid requests.  
• Interns will work with Project Managers in all stages to facilitate project completion. 
• Interns will learn quality control functions and project staging.

Responsibilities

• Help plan events that drive client acquisition to a services-based company.  
• Participate in events to develop client relationships.  
• Utilize strategies for the following development approaches: in-person prospecting, referral marketing, direct mailing, and social media outreach.  
• Learn how to build and develop a list of potential clients.  
• Write and edit event plans and marketing materials for the events.
• Complete small projects as assigned by the mentor.
• The complete intake process for clients when supervised by the mentor.
