Position Overview:  

The Dometic Internship Program is a professional learning experience that offers meaningful, practical work related to a student’s field of study or career interest. Our program gives students the opportunity to collaborate with team members, to have a meaningful project that allows you to have impact, career exploration and development, to learn new skills, and get to know other interns.   

The Design Engineer Intern is responsible for design, validation, and documentation for assigned engineering processes. 

It is anticipated that these tasks will be for Product Development supporting all product families.

Focus will be on new Engineering Specification.  Creating new design and format while enhancing of current Engineering Specifications. This role may also receive a design project as time and ability would allow. 

Responsibilities

  • Creating new design format
  • Design, validating, and documenting assigned engineering processes

Qualifications

  • Actively enrolled in a college or university seeking a degree. The following programs are preferred: ME or Systems Engineering
  • Microsoft 365 Office Suite, Visio, CAD (preferred)
  • 1st or 2nd Year Student
