IT Network Administrator Internship

Ruoff Mortgage is looking for an IT Network Administrator intern. This position will assist the Network Administrator in the IT Department with various tasks for the company-wide Ruoff team. 

Responsibilities

  • Work with Network Administrator to improve the reliability of our wireless networking environment
  • Assist in the replacement of older Uninterruptable Power Supplies and monitoring PC’s to improve the capabilities of our monitoring and reporting systems
  • Assist with maintaining and securing IT networking equipment
  • Assist Network Administrator with configuration and documentation of our environment
  • Maintains a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for a high level of confidentiality and security while handing personal information; verbal and/or written documentation
  • Perform other tasks as requested

Qualifications

  • Must be working towards Bachelor’s degree in Information Technologies, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, routing protocols, VLAN’s, SSID configuration, PC hardware and software, M365, and similar skills needed
  • Technical writing skills are a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products-Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Attention to detail, multi-tasking and broad communication skills are essential
