Description
Provide helpdesk-level tech support that works along side the IT Manager.
Basic/advanced networking, server administration, endpoint management, & team collaboration.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide helpdesk-level tech support to employees via email and in-person
- Assists Manager of IT & Cyber security in completing daily functions and large projects
- Troubleshoot & resolve end user hardware & software issues.
- Setup, configure & maintain new end-user computer systems and peripherals
- Maintain printers, copiers, scanners & other related computer equipment
- Document resolved issues, SOPs, walkthrough guides, and the IT asset inventory solution
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Miscellaneous daily tasks including special projects as assigned
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be actively pursuing a technical degree in information technology, electrical/computer engineering, or another related field.
- Advanced computer skills and knowledge for troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Knowledge of network administration including network topologies, server management, etc.
- Advanced computer software knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Verbal and written communication skills: Possess strong communications skills for effective delivery of information to clients, colleagues, and management
- Time management: Ability to maintain an organized scheduling and tracking system
- Must be an independent worker and be self-motivated
- Asks questions to ensure accurate understanding of key communications
- Sound judgment and problem resolution ability
