Description

Provide helpdesk-level tech support that works along side the IT Manager.

Basic/advanced networking, server administration, endpoint management, & team collaboration.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide helpdesk-level tech support to employees via email and in-person
  • Assists Manager of IT & Cyber security in completing daily functions and large projects
  • Troubleshoot & resolve end user hardware & software issues.
  • Setup, configure & maintain new end-user computer systems and peripherals
  • Maintain printers, copiers, scanners & other related computer equipment
  • Document resolved issues, SOPs, walkthrough guides, and the IT asset inventory solution
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Miscellaneous daily tasks including special projects as assigned

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be actively pursuing a technical degree in information technology, electrical/computer engineering, or another related field.
  • Advanced computer skills and knowledge for troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Knowledge of network administration including network topologies, server management, etc.
  • Advanced computer software knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Verbal and written communication skills: Possess strong communications skills for effective delivery of information to clients, colleagues, and management
  • Time management: Ability to maintain an organized scheduling and tracking system
  • Must be an independent worker and be self-motivated
  • Asks questions to ensure accurate understanding of key communications
  • Sound judgment and problem resolution ability
