Description

Victory Lane is an exciting, growing and vibrant non-profit organization that is serving families of children with disabilities. Since 2012, Victory Lane has served the families of Henry County and its surrounding counties with professionalism, integrity, excellence and fun. Victory Lane is looking to add a summer intern to meet and lead our programing.

The intern will have hands on training and mentorship from Brett Fischer-Founder, Matt Malek-Area Director, Janis Muncy-Mentor, Christine Carey-mentor, Cindy Cook-Mentor

Responsibilities

Intern will help build and run a successful camp, which will include putting together the schedule, help making welcome signs, ensure the meals are lined up.

Planning and executing the activites for the kids and parents.

Organize team of volunteers to help lead and run camp. 

Communicate team meeting details to all attendees. 

Executing 3 Tuesday Night events

Making sure all the supplies are at the event space, help with cleanup afterwards

Manage tension between personal time, deep work time and everyday tasks 

Scheduling outside events and entertainment for Camp and Tuesday night events

Must be able to follow the current system of accountability for current projects 

Track and prioritize outstanding projects 

Manage email 

Organizing and prioritizing of tasks for volunteers

Main project: Helping victory lane execute a successful camp season.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Microsoft Office software skills  

Documentation skills  

Dependability and professionalism 

Attention to detail  

Administrative writing and reporting skills  

Humility 

Drive to improve yourself and others around you 

Ability to read others well and adapt when the circumstance requires it  

 

Education and Experience Requirements:  

      Driver’s license
