Description

Victory Lane is an exciting, growing and vibrant non-profit organization that is serving families of children with disabilities. Since 2012, Victory Lane has served the families of Henry County and its surrounding counties with professionalism, integrity, excellence and fun. Victory Lane is looking to add a summer intern to meet and lead our programing.

The intern will have hands on training and mentorship from Brett Fischer-Founder, Matt Malek-Area Director, Mentor

Responsibilities

 Organize team of volunteers to help lead and run camp.

Contact participants for camp

Lead meetings as front point person before, during and after camp.

Communicate meeting details to all attendees. 

Manage tension between personal time, deep work time and everyday tasks 

Schedule and prepare for video conferences as needed 

Serve as project coordinator for company meetings 

Prepare agendas 

Assimilating needed information for presentations 

Organizing and disseminating information  

Scheduling outside events and entertainment for Camp 

Serve as project manager for projects  

Must be able to follow the current system of accountability for current projects 

Track and prioritize outstanding projects 

Organizing and prioritizing of tasks of volunteers

Deliver Summer Camp to completion

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Microsoft Office software skills 

Documentation skills 

Dependability and professionalism

Attention to detail 

Administrative writing and reporting skills 

Humility  

Drive to improve yourself and others around you 

Ability to read others well and adapt when the circumstance requires it 

 

Education and Experience Requirements: 

High school diploma 

Driver’s license
