Description

This job requires a person to troubleshoot and manage a network of approximately 350 Window PCs, 450 Chromebooks and 100 iPads all networked through a HP
backbone. It would also include summer hours preparing computers for the new school year, which could possibly include tasks such as re-imaging, cleaning, software installation, inventory update, and distribution. This individual will work with MFP devices to troubleshoot and restore to operation, set up and maintain VOIP phone system, school bell system, and handheld radios.

Responsibilities

The computer technician provides technology support services under the direct supervision of the IT director. Daily duties/responsibilities are assigned by IT director and/or at times administration. They will include but are not limited to the following:


• Establish a customer-driven technical support environment
• Categorize, prioritize, and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner related to a variety of technologies
• Updating and maintaining existing technology
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory of IT assets
• Always maintains positive communications about Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School
• Establishes and maintains a professional, cooperative, supportive, and effective relationship with the classroom teacher and administration in all aspects and decision
making
• In certain situations, collaborates effectively with grade level resource teacher to support individual learning needs of students
• Assists in maintaining a safe physical environment
• Immediately reports witnessed accidents to IT director and/or administration
• Coordinates the setup of technology as needed for meetings, school assemblies, and inservices as required

Qualifications

This individual in this position must be working towards an Associate or Bachelor of Science degree in Computers or equivalent of 2+ years’ experience delivering end user support, experience troubleshooting end-user hardware, software, and networks; A+ certification desirable.

• Must demonstrate initiative and dependability when carrying out assignments
• Should model the Catholic Faith through their example and Christian living
• Will understand Active Directory, Azure, and Office 365 Suite
• Should have experience with backup and image management software
• Must have network troubleshooting skills
