Description

Next Bite Robotics LLC is revolutionizing food service with automated robotic food kiosks, delivering high-quality food quickly and with 24/7 accessibility. As we prepare to deploy our first units and rapidly expand across central Indiana, we're seeking a talented and driven IT Infrastructure & Support Intern. This is a unique opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup, with a clear pathway to a part-time or full-time position upon successful completion of the internship. You'll play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining our core IT infrastructure, including server setup, web hosting, email systems, and general IT support for both internal operations and our robotic kiosks.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include setting up and configuring servers, managing web hosting environments, and administering email systems. You'll also provide essential first-level IT support for hardware, software, and network issues for internal staff, assist in the setup and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals, and support the deployment and troubleshooting of network connectivity for our robotic kiosks. Additionally, you'll help manage IT asset inventory, contribute to documentation of IT procedures, and collaborate closely with our engineering and operations teams to resolve technical challenges and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical field. Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in IT infrastructure, network administration, and cybersecurity, along with a basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi), and common office applications. This role is perfect for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and teamwork skills who can work independently. You'll gain direct, hands-on experience supporting a cutting-edge robotics company, enhance practical skills in IT infrastructure and support, and build valuable professional connections, all while playing a vital role in launching and scaling a revolutionary product.
