Fall 2025 New Product Development (NPD) Intern
Description
Provide hybrid support to Engineering Departments across a broad range of assignments, including:
- Leading or contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and scrap reduction projects
- Designing and optimizing gating and risering systems for casting processes
- Assisting with new product qualification and process development
- Supporting process optimization and lean manufacturing practices
- Reviewing and addressing non-conforming materials and implementing corrective actions
- Offering direct production support to resolve technical challenges and improve efficiency
Responsibilities
During the course of the internship, the student will develop and refine a wide range of technical and professional skills, including:

Technical Skills:

Process design and optimization

Root cause analysis and problem-solving for non-conforming materials

Data analysis for continuous improvement and scrap reduction projects

Qualifications
Attending a four-year college for Engineering (Preferably Material Science or Mechanical)
