Electrical Craft Internship

Description

Position/Description of Duties:  Craft Associate

 Responsibilities and goals include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Will work on a jobsite or prefab department alongside our Helpers, Apprentices and Journeypersons.
2. Perform installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment within the commercial, or industrial electrical industry.
3. Under the supervision of an electrician, perform assigned tasks.
4. Learn and familiarize yourself with plan reading.
5. Must keep all materials, tools, and equipment in an orderly fashion, maintain a clean work area at all times, demonstrate safe work habits, and exhibit proper care for all tools and equipment.
6. Learn how to bend conduit by hand and Hydraulic benders.
7. Assist in wire pulls for conduit, cable trays, floor ducts and wire ways.
8. Become certified to operate platform lifts.
