At Granite Ridge Builders, we don’t just build homes—we craft personalized experiences. Our marketing team plays a key role in bringing those stories to life. We’re looking for a passionate, creative, and driven Fall Video Intern to join our dynamic team for the upcoming semester. You’ll have the opportunity to work on meaningful video projects and build a professional portfolio—all while learning best practices from an experienced marketing and production team.
You'll work directly with our marketing team, mentored by our Marketing Director, and assisted by our Graphic Designer and Marketing Assistant. You'll receive on-site training about the home-building process, work behind the scenes on our TV show "Between the Studs," and work with our leadership team to develop a comprehensive Home-Ownership 101 Library for our YouTube channel, website, and social media.
Responsibilities
You’ll be immersed in real-world video production projects from concept to completion, including:
Producing promotional videos, social media content, and home walkthroughs
Creating an instructional video library for homeowners
Capturing and editing footage for events and assisting with "Between the Studs" filming
Supporting color correction, audio editing, and delivery across digital platforms
Collaborating with our Marketing Director, Graphic Designer, and Marketing Assistant
Applying creative and strategic video storytelling for organic and paid social media
Qualifications
Enrolled in a college/university program eligible for internship credit
Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
Understanding of color grading, audio editing, and social media video trends
Detail-oriented with a creative mindset and willingness to learn
Ability to work on-site at our Fort Wayne office
Submit a resume and demo reel showcasing your work
Bonus Skills (not required but a plus):
Familiarity with Sony cameras
Motion Graphics experience
Drone Operation/License
