Studio Intern

Description

Boomerang Ventures is a combination venture fund and studio focused on bringing healthcare ideas to life. We partner with professors and physicians who have ideas for connected healthcare products and help them build those ideas into businesses. As a studio intern, you will be supervised by our Project Leader who will train you in some of the basics of various areas such as intellectual property, regulatory, and reimbursement. You will then work with the Executive in Residence (XIR) responsible for championing the ideas/projects through our stage gate process.

Responsibilities

Interns will be assisting in the due diligence and derisking of projects as they move through our stage gate process. This may include things like researching competitors in a space for a competitor analysis, identifying prior art in the intellectual property landscape, participating in customer validation interviews, etc.

Qualifications

While not required, it would be beneficial if an applicant has previous experience utilizing AI tools like ChatGPT or Perplexity to facilitate in research.
