Lab Technician in a Cosmetic Manufacturing Facility

Description

Each intern has a direct supervisor that is a high-level leader within the organization, to ensure maximum learning and benefit to the student. They will work closely with their supervisor for education, check-in points, deliverables and feedback. The goal is for each student to gain as many applicable real-world skills as possible, to ensure success in their future careers, whether that's in the same industry or not.

The lab tech will perform quality assurance and quality control functions essential to our cosmetics manufacturing operations. This role focuses primarily on QA/QC testing protocols and raw ingredient analysis to ensure our products meet safety and quality standards before production. The lab tech will gain hands-on experience with cosmetic testing procedures, ingredient verification, and quality control documentation. This position provides practical laboratory experience in the cosmetics manufacturing industry with direct impact on product quality and safety.

Responsibilities

- raw material testing, documentation

- full batching of real products in commerce (500-20,000 pc batches)

- testing of formulations (stability, PET, stress tests during R&D)

Qualifications

- 1 year wet lab experience (academic setting fine)

- Great attitude, willingness to learn

- Ability to drive to Bedford lab location
